Exterior

The Silverado 2500’s WT base trim has 17-inch steel painted silver wheels with all-season blackwall tires, black bumpers, beltline moldings, and door handles. The 2025 model is available in Radiant Red Tintcoat, Lakeshore Blue Metallic, Summit White, and Sterling Gray Metallic.

Notable features on the Silverado 2500 include the CornerStep rear bumper, a high-strength steel Durabed, and cab-mounted cargo area lights. The CornerStep bumper prevents you from losing your footing when climbing into the truck bed, while the Durabed is made with roll-formed steel to withstand any type of cargo without damage.

Interior

Inside the new Silverado 2500, there’s seating for three passengers on a 40/20/40 split front bench seat. Under this seat, there’s a small cargo compartment for essentials. If you choose the crew cab or double cab model, you increase your Silverado’s seating capacity to six passengers.

The Silverado 2500 has a 2-speaker sound system with a speaker placed on the inside of each front door. The rubberized vinyl floor coverings protect your floor from debris, while the 3.5-inch driver information center displays your truck’s mileage, speed, and fuel levels.

Technology

The 2025 Silverado 2500 has a 7-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. Once you connect your phone to the truck, you can use voice command pass-through to make hands-free phone calls from behind the wheel. The new Silverado 2500 also has Bluetooth audio streaming, so you can stream music from your phone.

The new Chevy Silverado 2500 also has Wi-Fi hotspot capability for up to ten devices. This hotspot is effective for up to fifty feet outside the truck, allowing you to use the internet on your laptops or tablets outside.

Safety

Safety features in the Silverado 2500 include Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning. These driver-assistance functions watch your surroundings and warn you about potential hazards before an accident occurs. StabiliTrak electronic stability control, Teen Driver, and OnStar Basics are some of the other innovative safety features in the new Silverado 2500.

Performance

The Chevy Silverado 2500 runs on a 6.6L V8 gas engine that delivers 401 HP at 5200 rpm and 464 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. You can upgrade to the available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine, which offers 470 HP at 2800 rpm and 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm with a maximum towing capacity of 22,070 pounds on crew cab models.
